Doncaster Pride - Keepmoat Stadium
Sunday 5 August
Doncaster Pride will begin with the traditional “Walk of Unity” through the streets of the Town Centre starting from or historical home of the Market Place, which puts it right outside Doncaster’s one and only Crystals. Barry and the team will be opening early on Pride day for visitors to gather and enjoy a drink before setting out for the extended walk that will take in the town centre streets. The Walk will leave Crystals at 12:30. Pride gates open at 1pm and the Main Stage will begin at 2. This year Pride will finish at approximately 8pm and then it’s back to Crystals for the biggest and best  Doncaster Pride Afterparty in history. Watch this space for more details but the Market Place venue has big plans taking shape and the Pride Committee are delighted to be ending the day at Crystals supporting them as they support us throughout the year. The Auckley Show
Saturday 11th August
Annual community event Free Entry and Free Parking, a wide range of live entertainment in the Main Marquee including ‘The Armthorpe Elmfield Brass Band’, on the key board ‘Shades of Radiance’ vocalist ‘Vinny Dean’ and to entertain the younger ones ‘Mr Magic’ and 'Andy the Clown'. Judging of the Horticultural and Produce Exhibits will take place at 11am and the auction of unclaimed entries at 4pm. We have a second Marquee dedicated to the craft stalls. Around the Show Field you will find Show Jumping, donkey rides, fun pet competition, a Duck Race down the river, Children’s sports, Tug o War, Classic Cars and Tractors, car boot sale and much more. Medieval Castle Clash -Conisbrough Castle
Sat 18 & Sun 19 August,12pm-4.30pm
The mighty castle of Conisbrough becomes the stage for the pageant of the Knights.  See Escafeld re-enactors gather for courtly pursuits of archery and dancing, presentations of arming a knight and then witness the dramatic conclusion of a tournament of Knights.  Main combat at 3pm. £5.50/ £5.00/ £3.50/ £14.50 EH Members Free
