An exhibition of Portraits of Doncaster people.
From the late Victorian period to the 1940s, the studio of Luke Bagshaw on East Laithe Gate, was patronised by local people. Sometimes this was just as part of everyday life, but at other times, the occasion was special. Some visited for happy events like weddings and fancy dress parties. Others gave their families a last memento before going off to war.

Have a wander between the two sites and be entertained and educated. A fun day out for all the family.
