Doncaster Racecourse is delighted to announce that tickets for this year’s Labrokes St. Leger Festival are on sale now. Tickets are expected to sell out in record time, as in 2007, due to the huge public interest in the stunning redevelopment of the venue and a newly improved ticketing system. Additional staff will also be on hand to handle the calls in order to deal with the anticipated increase in ticket sales. Doncaster Racecourse is one of the UK’s premier racecourses and with the redevelopment complete is classed within the top five courses in the country. Doncaster’s racing heritage is synonymous with the world’s oldest renowned classic race the Ladbrokes St. Leger dating back to 1776, along with the opening and closing of the British Flat season, the Lincoln Saturday 22nd March and the November Handicap on Saturday 8th November. Adam Waterworth, Managing Director at Doncaster Racecourse, commented, “This year promises to be another exciting time for race-goers and ourselves, it’s a lot easier to get a feel for the amazing experience people will have when they come to Doncaster Racecourse. We are expecting a huge demand for tickets and we are urging people to book as early as possible for any date to avoid disappointment.” To guarantee your place at the Ladbrokes St. Leger Festival this year, book your tickets by telephoning 01302 304 200, on-line at: www.doncaster-racecourse.co.uk or in person at the main grandstand from 8:00am until 5:00pm.
