Doncaster in Bloom

The floral displays that grace the approaches into Doncaster, the town centre itself and many of the surrounding villages attract visitors from far and wide. The stunning floral creations are part of Doncaster’s participation in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom Competition which has resulted in the town winning medals, shields and trophies for the imaginative planting of trees, shrubs, flowers, landscaping, conservation and recycling in recent years.

Memorable creations have included The Mayflower Ship, The Mallard, St George and the Dragon, Robin Hood and a display of 6 Vulcan Bombers, each chosen for their association with the town.

To find out more about the commercial sponsorship opportunities available to support the landscape improvements and floral decorations please contact the Community Parks Team.
